Today, my friend's 11 year old son accidentally shocked himself with our electric fly swatter. Thirty seconds later, while trying to prove to him that it's physically impossible to shock yourself with it, and that it's perfectly safe, I did the exact same thing. FML

Today, my 15-year-old son got so enraged at a fly that kept harassing him, that he ended up slapping himself in the face as it flew by him. This caused him to fall out of his chair, at which point he broke down into a mess of tears, humiliating me in front of everyone. FML

Today, I was replacing some outlets for work and I got surprise-electrified. I threw my wire strippers in the air while yelling, "Oh fuck me." The homeowner and his 2 kids were standing 3 feet away. He was not happy. FML

Today, I was babysitting an eleven year old boy. He decided we should play with nerf guns with velcro tips. I shot him in the crotch accidentally, and the dart stuck on his pants wiggling for about a full minute before his dad walked in to find us both staring at his son's crotch, giggling. FML

Today, my son still sticks his fingers in plug sockets, cuts charging cables for devices, licks batteries and so on, because he enjoys the electric shocks, he thinks they are funny so I can’t even trust him when he sleeps at night, in case he wakes up while we’re asleep and does something stupid. FML

wow wtf...I'm gunna go against the tide andsay fyl cause u musthave gotten pregnant at a very young age if ur that stupid. anyone got a pictureof an electric flyswatter btw? i'd look one up on gogle but i'm on my phone and just typing this is kind of hard lol. Fail guys, no where did she (the OP) say that she saw the kid get shocked, and no where did she say she even had a child, learn to read. And to those who are saying it's pretty stupid to have an electric fly swatter, have you ever tried to swat a fly that didn't just sit there and let you swat it? Not that easy, now try when there are 6+ flies doing that. And to top it off you have to swing that thing pretty fast if you want to get a fatal hit in midair.
