Today, my daughter asked for a dollar to buy ice cream from the ice cream truck while I was on my computer working. Out of my wallet she took a fifty dollar bill. The ice cream man got a big tip before driving off. FML

If she was young enough to think using a fifty is ok, sounds like she wasn't old enough to be going out to the truck alone, so.... yup this ones on you OP.

Next time have her bring you your wallet and you give her the cash or better yet, take her yourself. I also hope she was with a large group of friends and not out on the streets by her self.

if she's young enough not to know the difference between a fifty and a dollar (the numbers) then she's obviously too young to be going outside buying icecream alone! YDI

YDI. If you don't want to take care of your kid then don't have one. Since the simple task of retrieving a dollar from your wallet and supervising your child going up to a random dude in a random truck is beyond your skill set, it's rather clear the kind of parent you are. Lazy and uninterested. I feel bad for the kid.
