Sheldon76 tells us more.
Well once she felt the resistance she stopped and deflated it fully. But unfortunately it had traveled some down the urethra before she realized. So I had to wait while she grabbed another syringe unfortunately.

Um, what's a catheter?
The balloon keeps the catheter from slipping out. When it's deflated, the catheter easily slips out on its own.
A tube inserted through the urethra and into the bladder. (Through a dick hole, for a male). It drains your bladder for you so you don't have to pee.
It's what everyone wishes for during those 1 AM "I have to pee" moments, and what everyone hates when they actually need to have one.
Thank you for explaining :)
I'm a girl and I shuddered.. Why is there a balloon in there?
there is a balloon to hold it in place or it slips out.
Only one case I can think of deserves that and that's pedifiles ( sorry if it's misspelled for the spelling nazi ) but as an EMT my but hole created a sonic boom as it slapped shut that's how bad it made me cringe
I don't get how anyone put you deserve it. I know I sometimes hit that by accident but there's a lot. Wish there was a way to undo it. Anyway so sorry you went through that.
My buddy knocked out a nurse because he forgot to deflate the balloon and just yanked.
Oh this is so cringey. Sorry OP, hope you're ok down there.
it would still hurt for it to happen to a girl...
Trust me, still doesn't feel good having a catheter put in your urethra. Guy or girl, it doesn't matter.
Yeaahhhh no
A catheter goes in your urethra, not your ******.. It's two different holes. So it would hurt just as much for females
Sorry mang
why? women don't give birth from their urethra
She was probably just referring to the level of pain.

*every single guy on FML shudders and clutches his dick* I'm honestly glad I cannot relate to this.
I don't have a penis but I can imagine the pain. I'm so sorry! :c
