Today, it's the five year anniversary of my father's death. I was cuddling with my boyfriend and crying about how much I missed him. He replied with, "Sometimes, I think you just like to hear yourself talk." FML

I think death anniversaries are okay days to be sad. My dad died when I was 10, almost 12 years ago, and it does get a bit easier, I promise. :) PS - Dump him.

I lost my brother in '07 you ******* bitch #53 and I have already expressed my emotions...I don't rely on others for support or sympathy, no one knows what I went thru and I don't expect them to. I'm just saying that counting on others to be sympathetic to your needs is weak....not showing your emotions (thats normal).....why don't you think before you say stupid shit like that you ugly bitch. **** you. I hope something bad happens to you in your life....hopefully someone you love dearly will die a miserable death....which is what you deserve 100%

It's obviously true, you went so far as to post it online for millions of people to see. Also, #30, are you retarded? How do you get better from b8r? Idiot

41, you must be very naive or very disturbed to think that mourning the death of a loved one is weak.

I see people's points that OP can't mourn forever and that it is important to celebrate his life rather than being sad all the time. But who says she doesn't celebrate his life? She probably doesn't cry every day. It was on the anniversary of his death, I'm sure that's a day you feel the grief a little bit more than usual.

I MEANT THAT RELYING ON SOMEONE TO HAVE SYMPATHY FOR YOU IS WEAK......I DIDN'T MEAN TO SAY MOURNING IS FOR THE WEAK....IT CAME OUT WRONG.....NOW STFU AND STOP GIVING ME SO MUCH SHIT FOR IT YOU ASSHOLES! I hope you lose a love one in the worst kind of way too #58 you piece of shit. :)

hahaha.. thats awesome.. except maybe a little wrong timing.. haha.. funny nevertheless

#56 dude you are ****** up. I lost my dad in '02 when i was 12 yrs old. He was the only person in my life who i felt like cared for me so i think thats who you would consider "someone you love dearly". He died a painful/miserable death of cancer while i his youngest son watched. Nobody deserves that shit! You need to be the one thinking about what you are about to say! I myself bottle my emotions all year long but on the anniversary of my fathers death i go to his grave with my brother and sister and we all cry over the loss of our beloved father. And for the person that originally posted this...if my girlfriend treated me like that she wouldnt be my girlfriend anymore PS - excuse my grammer/spelling mistakes im writing shorthand
