Today, it's been exactly 2 years since I graduated college. I make less money in my full-time job now than I did working part-time in college. FML

Taking a pay cut is common when you're breaking into a new industry- you'll be rolling in cash if you stick to your career path!

That sucks big time, but we've all got to start at the bottom, regardless of college or jot, and work our way up. Don't get disheartened OP, life can be tough. Maybe you should consider looking for a new job or asking for a promotion?

Don't have a job for the sake of just having a job. If you're making less than you did working part-time at college, why not do that full time until you find what you are looking for worth moving to a job that pays more/the same in your field? I know waitresses with PhD's that would rather waitress because they make more money than they would working for someone else. And they love it.

indeed you do need to start somewhere OP. although it may be hard, try not to get discouraged. Real life does suck. best of luck

Think you could re apply their again?

Makes me glad that I'm joining the military the dat I finish my double major.

And now that you make less money, you get to pay student loans! I'm in the same boat. :/
