Today, in an attempt to save money on waxing, I bought Veet hair removal cream. I also discovered it has the same effect on carpets. Now I have to pay for a replacement. So much for saving money. FML

is anybody else kinda worried that people put something on their skin that can cause carpeting to disintegrate?

how did you manage to get it on the carpet?

I used to live in a house where the bathroom had steps going up to the bath and they were carpeted, so she could have been sat on something like this and that's how she got it on the carpet. She didn't have to go wandering all around her house.

Bathrooms shouldn't have carpet.

Veet didn't even work for me. how much damage can it do to a CARPET?? Really. Plus, why would you be doing that over full-floor carpet? LOL

YDI for doing it over the carpet, if u dont have tiles or anything just do it in the shower/bath

veet is an awesome product to miscellaneous comments if it burns get the one for sensitive skin, it takes longer for your hair to grow back 1 week with shaving versus 2 with veet, fully says on the bottle to not use it around fabric or carpet YDI for not reading the bottle.

Hmmm which carpet are u talkin about op?? ;)

Too bad carpet doesn't grow back. Too bad pubes do.

To be safe, do it in the tub. Some tubs have a sitting ledge. If not, close the toilet lid and sit on top as you apply the cream.
