Today, I was testing for figure skating. I was wearing a brand new custom dress that was a halter top. On my first move, I tripped and fell flat on my face. Immediately after retaking the move, my dress snapped open, exposing myself to the judges. FML

Dude, how does a word as simple and plain as 'myself' bother you? Just curious... (#2)

The sad part is that it is almost certain that if there were male judges, they'd be gay! If your **** are 7.0 or better (or 4.5 or better on the old 6-point scale) please send pictures!

Haha! I had the same thing happen to me a couple years ago, except it happened to me in competition right at the end of my solo. I was doing a combination spin, finishing with just a back spin and when I was about to end, I felt something snap. As soon as I stopped spinning to get in to my final pose, it flew off, but I caught it in time. Haulters blow. NEVER get ones with snaps to hold it together. I never wore the dress again

why did I always think ice skaters wore "nude" colored leotards under their dresses so this exact thing didn't happen. either way - that sucks and I'm sorry :)

Um. . . try wearing a bra or something? That's what they're for. . . YDI!!

It's impossible to wear a bra with most dresses.

#41 you're an idiot, you can't wear bras with halters. also that sucks ass i'm very sorry

its not impossible to wear a bra with skating dresses, if it was custom like she said then shes the dumbass for making it halter so YDI

The point is making the dress fit the music. And it's not only a halter dress, I've got a regular dress that i still can't wear a bra with.

I don't think having a halter top helps "fit" the music, and if she was testing moves there was no music, so yea dumbass

Did she say she was testing moves? She could've used the word "move" to mean her first element. And seriously do you think most people expect this? Some people never wear bras while skating.

No one who participates in competitive figure skating would be caught dead being identified as sk8tergurl. For one thing, sk8ter refers to a completely different sport - and one that is largely looked down upon by figure skaters
