Today, I was putting a wooden shelf into my new TV stand. Right before I put it in, I rested it on my leg. I then realized that the wood was of poor quality, and it gave me splinters. Now, I can't remove the splinters, because I can't find their exact location under my really hairy legs. FML

perhaps the point should be raised that he should have sanded the shelf. if he got splinters from it just sitting on his leg, it would be worse putting thongs in and off. or, maybe buy a tv stand that comes with a shelf. obviously carpentry isn't your strong skill.

I swear I put things, not thongs - but if he keeps his thongs there, you really don't want them catching a bit of sliver before putting them on.

Simple solution. Wait until they get infected. When they turn red and pus filled, they will be easy to spot. Then you can pop them and dig out the splinters.
