Today, I was denounced for being a terrible person, because my family raises chickens, some of which we eat. I was then told how cruel I am for "killing innocent birds" and that "good" people buy their meat from the supermarket. FML

Today, I tried to be kind to animals and get my dad to buy cage-free eggs. When I told him it was dollar more, he started yelling and making a scene in the middle of the store, saying that chickens are ugly and they deserve to suffer. FML

Today, my roommate raged at me for "lying" about being a vegetarian, because she saw chicken stored in my side of the fridge. That chicken isn't for me, it's an ingredient in the homemade food I make for my dogs. Apparently, serving my dogs real meat instead of forcing them into vegetarianism makes me a hypocrite. FML

Why go out and kill an animal to eat it when you can just go buy chicken breast that the supermarket grows!? On a side-note: chickens are evil little monsters and every one you eat is a little less darkness in the world.

Dont eat meat at all, its bad for you, and bad for the environment. Not to mention the horrible death this chicken has when its throat is sliced and then its body dumped in boiling water so its feather can be plucked. If you could live a cruelty free life, why wouldn't you?
