Today, I was at a choir convention, and everyone sings the national anthem outside their rooms each night. I was not informed and took a shower. My roommates opened the door, yanked me out, and locked me out of the room to sing wearing just a towel. The guy down the hall was video taping it. FML

Today, I was singing horribly in the shower. Without me knowing, my sister recorded my singing and set it as my ringtone. My phone rang in class and everyone heard it. My new nickname is American Idol. FML

Today, I was showering at my dorm. I had my clothes locked in a locker and my towel and robe hanging outside the stall. Someone took off with my towel and robe, which had my keys. I had to walk down three flights of stairs to get an extra key in nothing but a plastic shower curtain. FML

Today, I was singing in the shower, not realising the window was open. When I got out, the neighbours were at the front door, loudly arguing with my mother. They were complaining about my awful singing. FML

Today, while taking a shower in the dorm bathroom, my roommate thought it would be funny to steal my towel, robe, and key. I spent over an hour waiting for someone to come into the bathroom so I could ask them to bring me something to cover up. FML

Today, I locked myself out of my dorm room. I walked across campus, shoe-less and in nothing but my bathrobe, to find someone who could let me back in. Turns out I hadn't even shut the door properly and so it never actually locked. I can still hear the guy laughing at me. FML

Today, I woke up in my boyfriend's dorm and decided to take a shower before he woke up. I used the girls bathroom on the above floor, and afterwards just threw on a towel and ran to the elevator. I forgot to press my boyfriend's floor and I was taken to the lobby in a towel. People were waiting. FML

Today, I got drunk until morning at a college friend's apartment with bunch of strangers. Some officials came in due to the noise and I tried to scare them away by pretending to sing a latin song of worship I made up, thinking they'd respect the gathering if it was a religious one. FML

Today, I went to take a shower, but forgot my towel and dorm key in my room. After my shower, I had to run down to the front desk butt-naked, using only a shampoo bottle as cover, and ask for a temporary key. The person running the front desk was my ex-girlfriend’s current boyfriend. FML

This was Kentucky Allstate actually. We sing the National Anthem outside of our rooms in the Hyatt Hotel because of the way the hotel is built. It's circular so the acoustics are cool. :) We sing The National Anthem because it's a song everyone there knows. It has nothing to do with patriotism.

The star spangled banner is such a boring poem. It's almost 200 years old. I say it's time we get a new anthem. As for then pulling you out of the shower like that...it better have been women doing it. Even still though they can go **** themselves. I would have kicked some ass, and filed for sexual harassment. You just don't do stuff like that. No one has respect these days.

I participated in Kentucky Allstate in high school! I recognized the tradition when they explained it! It's true, every night in the Hyatt Hotel in Louisville, all the choir members sing The Star Spangled Banner at 11pm because the hotel has 18 floors that all come together in a giant square overlooking the lobby and it makes a great sound when we all sing together :) too bad you had to sing in your towel...
