Today, I took a pregnancy test because I'd missed a few periods, gained weight, and been moody. Turns out I'm just fat and moody. FML

thanks4support tells us more.

OP here, first off I am not overweight, just gained about ten pounds shortly out of nowhere. Thank you to all of those who did have health concerns I am looking into all that.

I'd still go to the doctors too see whats going on unless you want to be on an "I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant" episode

She thought she was taking sperm pills but it turned out they were just tic-tacs.

You should probably go to the dr to get a blood test to be certain you are not pregnant. You said you missed a couple of periods. That means you can be ten + weeks pregnant. Pregnancy test don't work when hormone levels are that high and don't register as positive. Go get a blood test!

You sound like me - I turned out to have PCOS and insulin resistance, part of metabolic syndrome. I suggest getting checked out by a doctor. I found that a LCHF diet controls it well (search Diet Doctor/Andreas Eenfeldt). Good luck! xxx

on the plus side, you're having sex.

get your thyroid checked. many women have issues with a hyper or hypo thyroid when they suddenly gain/lose weight and have weird period timing.

Tired of being fat and moody? Just be moody!! Exercise at FML-Gym! Call 123-456-789 Now! Seriously though, missed periods can be a serious health issue. Please go to a physician for a check-up.

Your phone number is missing a digit.

What do you get when you cross pms with gps? A crazy bitch that'll find you haha

That doesn't explain the missed periods tho

Of course it explains it. A lot of hormonal problems cause women to gain weight, become moody, and quit menstruating. I suggest you don't comment on something you have no knowledge of.

missing a few periods is a symptom of a period being on its way? i dont think so.

But at least you don't have period cramps and bleeding!
