Today, I received a text from the guy I'm into, thanking me for helping him drunkenly stumble back to his apartment last night. He ended it with, "How long did you stay?" Apparently, he doesn't remember confessing his secret love for me, or the fantastic kiss that followed. FML

So remind him! Drunken words are sober thoughts, etc.

If he doesn't remember you should mess with him, be like "well, I stayed long enough for you to tell me you where into men, and that you quite often fantasize about Johnny Depp." see if he admits anything=]

That sucks. I agree that you should remind him. Joking about anything more happening though probably isn't a good idea if he wasn't joking and was serious. Who knows? It's kind of a 50:50 chance with drunk people sorry to say :/

Oh, he remembers... A similar thing happened to me once, or rather the exact same thing actually. My guess is that he asked, just to pretend like he didn't really remember. (Since he probably isn't sure that you still feel the same way you did when you were drunk) :) Just ask him, and please tell us how it went :)

He definitely remembers what happened. If he's anything like me he's just playing amnesia just to protect himself. Although... it's not always the best plan of action.

"How long did you stay?" "Long enough for you and I to have mind blowing sex. Then you called your mother and told her that you proposed to me and we are eloping." Go for it!

That sucks OP. you should have told him he proposed.

Long enough to know we should meet up again soon.... you free Friday?

One more reason you shouldn't do things with drunk people.

then maybe you should tell him? People tell more truths than lies when drunk. You seem to like him too, just go for it.

This is neither and FML or a YDI. This guy likes you and you like him. Sounds like a beautiful story to tell the kids a few years from now to me.
