Hey all - Thanks for the comments... I did have another job before quitting and I did give my 2 week notice. I'm not stupid in this kind of economy. When giving my 2 week notice, my boss offered to match my current salary and I denied it. I then saw the craigslist posting for more money after I already denied what my boss tried to match for me since I felt it was too late and my new job paid way more. Therefore the uneducated, stupid, and not doing well at my job part doesn't apply. However the undervalued, stupid boss does. :)

The EXACT same thing happened to my boss at my old job! And then they replaced her with someone with less experience, who doesn't do nearly as much work. It makes me furious. =( I'm so sorry that happened to you, hon.
Thats why you give two weeks notice, not walk off the job the day you quit - which also harms you when it comes time to future potential employers checking your business. No one wants someone who quits without notice, and if you had put in notice, and weren't a totally lousy employee they wanted to get rid off, you would have been offered a raise to stay
You weren't working your corner well enough.
lol apply to that shit
it means you were a bad worker =
Why work for a company that recruits through craigslist? WTF??? Move on and get a job at a real company.
