That sucks. A spoon of peanut butter or a spoon of sugar always does the trick for me. Let the sugar melt in your mouth before swallowing. I'm prone to loud embarrassing hiccups in the most inconvenient times and places. Better luck next time you get them.
Drink water upside down. Literally just drink from the opposite side of the glass yes you must swallow in this position. You can put the water in your mouth and lean over so head is lower than your stomach about your waste and swallow.
Deeply holding your breath for as long as you can has always worked to stop them for me
