Today, I got home from a family trip to Disney World. I had taken nearly 300 photos of our trip on my new digital camera. As our car pulled into the driveway, I was using my camera to try to delete one unflattering shot of me. I accidentally deleted every picture off the memory card. FML

What?! Every digital camera I've used has a confirmation step, so that you would have had to hit 'yes' or something like it twice to avoid situations just like the one the OP had.

I would have cried. Honest. I love taking pictures and I would hate for the same thing to happen to me.

Some type of recovery button on the camera? Or a website you can recover it with?

With some cameras you can undo that.

First ydi second you can get em back but the program will cost you $40 do some research my wife did this from our honeymoon happy to say all the pictures were restored don't format your memory card or take new pics

Maybe you shouldnt care about what you look like...

That happened to me once too. But mine was worse, I deleted 2 years worth of photos

The same thing happened to my little brother. He's nine and cried for hours :( maybe you'll go again :)

I did that once. My baby just came home from the hospital and we had like 2-300 photos. Found a bad pic. Ended up with none. Heartbreaking. >.
