Today, I got an email from the local D and D meet up group that the next meeting will be on Feb. 14th. I don't know what is more sad: that the group is meeting on Valentine's Day, or that I have nothing better to do but go. FML

Today, I keep trying to use the Meetup app to meet people, but life keeps trolling me, and every event I even attempt to join (all virtual so far) has been met with no social interaction. It feels like life keeps hammering in the idea that I should just sit in my room and atrophy away. FML

Today, I was talking with some of my friends who are girls. They were all complaining about how there was no good boys left to ask to the Sadie Hawkins Dance. Hoping for an invite I mentioned I was still available. They just laughed at me and invited me to come dress shopping with them. FML

@ everyone saying valentine's day is a pointless hallmark holiday: Not true. it would be accurate if you said that about Sweetest Day, but NOT valentine's day. Granted, it's been pretty commercialized, but it has a legit basis. Do some research.

Get a new DM or teach some people how to play and take turns DMing. It's not hard to find people that are willing to play.

Yes, because what pop culture says is always correct, and you should always judge things based on a complete lack of personal experience. I don't play D&D myself, but this has to be one of the most moronic posts I have ever read.
