I see two sides to this. If the OP is between say 12 and 14, then sure maybe the parents are being protective cause they're concerned etc. and she shouldn't have snuck out. If the OP is 15+ then her parents are probably overprotective ***** who need to let go and stop giving their daughter a reason to go against them this majorly.
