Today, I filed my taxes. As a divorcée with children, I was supposed to get $3,500 back from the IRS. Alas, my ex's new wife already filed with my children, who don't live with her. I now owe the IRS $250. FML

Provided you can document your claim, the IRS will correct this for you (leaving *her* liable for the discrepancy -- and possibly a fraud charge). I strongly suggest you contact them immediately.

You need to report her ass. She's not supposed to claim them unless they live with her, which I highly doubt. Send the bitch to jail for fraud.
