Today, I chatted to a nice guy and gave him my number. I told him I was going to sleep because I had a headache, and then put my phone on silent. He rang multiple times, and when I obviously didn't pick up, he sent several texts insulting me and calling me gutless for not responding. FML

He wasn't a nice guy if he couldn't believe you and respect your privacy for 5 minutes without getting all suspicious on you and throwing a tantrum when you didn't respond. Either it was a huge miscommunication, or ... you might want to rethink that one, OP. The guy might just be a clingy douche ! Best of luck to you !

OP here. Thanks for all the support. I did promptly block his number. He left voicemails calling me pathetic for not answering him, telling me how gutless I am and calling me all kinds of names. Then started attacking what he perceived me to look like (he never saw a pic of me, I never told him what I look like) saying I was probably some fat ugly ***** who sits on my fat f'n arse all day eating greasy food and I probably had the ugliest face ever and that's why I didn't answer his calls and that I'm just out to hurt people, blah blah blah lol
