Today, I texted the guy I went out with last night. He'd told me he’d text me when he got home, but he never did. Cracking a joke, I asked him if he was homeless or something, since he broke his word. He replied, “No, I’m just not that into you. Have a nice life.” FML

Honey, you do not ask people if they’re homeless if they haven’t texted you. It’s a turn off to have gone on one date with a guy and then point out how he didn’t text you back especially with a question like, “are you homeless?” At the end of the date, the same day, just send a text like “I had a great time tonight.” Or something like that. If he’s interested he’ll text back, if not, move on and don’t waste your time on people who are interested in you

Maybe you're too young but there's a whole episode of Sex & the City about the "He's not that into you". Always was one of my favourites. It's SO accurate. A guy who really wants to see a girl again won't ever forget to call her back. If he doesn't, then... he's not that into you.

That’s dating these days. Ghosting is unsurprisingly common. At least he did respond to your text and he doesn’t have to be that into you anyhow. Move on. Your life is pretty par for the course for anyone single.

The message to him was a bit awkward, but he could have texted that he did not feel chemistry and did not want to meet again, basic courtesy... You'll meet better ones.
