Today, for the first time, I told my girlfriend of two months that I love her. She broke down in laughter and mockingly asked, "What are you, some kind of queer?" I could've sworn she was mentally older than a 5-year-old when I asked her out. I guess not. FML

Two months is too soon to be saying I love you. It usually takes me about 6 months to say that so my guess is she probably felt pressured and said that.

For everyone saying two months is too soon for I love you, my boyfriend said it to me after one month...although we had been best friends for a year. Yeah, OP, it was too soon.
