Today, my boyfriend broke up with me after 4 perfectly happy years together. The reason? He had a dream in which his dead former girlfriend from when he was 13 told him she still loved him. He now believes his dead childhood sweetheart is trying to contact him and I'm "in the way of their love." FML

Today, I woke up from an amazing dream I was having about my girlfriend. We were laughing and holding hands, the kind of dream I wanted to stay asleep for. When I finally got up, I was excited to tell her about the dream but then I remembered. We broke up a week ago. FML

I can't believe people are getting thumbed down for thinking op's boyfriend is lying. Do you guys actually think that is for real? They've been together for 4 years?! More than enough time to get past grief issues. And then he dumps her over a dream? Come on!!! Sorry OP, that had to have been very insulting & hurtful.
