There is little more frustrating than dealing with a person who expects you to read their mind. There is a reason we have language - It's to enable communication... I personally refuse to deal with a person who only hints or expects me to read their mind. It takes an awful lot of other desirable qualities to make up for that.

This type of events are usually a red flag that something is wrong with your relationship. For some reason he feels so insecure about it that he is looking for signs to whether or not you fit together. You should probably mind meld (or at least speak) about what really bothers him
