Today, I asked my boyfriend why he never seems to have his own opinion, always agrees with me, and does whatever I want. That’s when he admitted he’s scared of me and is terrified of saying or doing anything I won’t like. I have no idea what I did to scare him this badly. FML

Today, I asked my husband to talk and he got the most tired and “Here we go again” look and then asked what he’d done wrong this time. Apparently, I get mad at him so often that now every time we talk, he immediately assumes he did something wrong. I think I’m a horrible wife. FML

Today, I realized just how spoiled and immature my boyfriend is when I asked him several times what he’d like for dinner. Getting no answer, I made steak, potatoes and salad. He then sulked and refused to eat it, since he wanted spaghetti and meatballs instead. FML

Probably something he learned from previous relationships. My last girlfriend nothing could be said without her turning it into an argument. Suspect drama was her love language. Thankfully current gf communicates like we're partners on the same team and it's amazing.

your boyfriend probably has PTSD from childhood trauma most likely at the hands of a female. you should probably but very gently talk to him about this, so he can seek some therapy, if you truly like the guy and want to help that's the best option.

This is the way. Looking at all the answers belittling the guy who has likely experienced deep trauma is disgusting. I hope the guy gets the help he needs to heal.
