Today, I tried to tell my boyfriend how I have been feeling recently in our relationship. He lashed out at me, saying I was just accusing him of being the bad guy. I guess I'll never express my feelings ever again. FML

Today, I had to tell my boyfriend his dad was sending me inappropriate texts that made me feel uncomfortable. I tried to make him stop, but he kept going until I felt like I needed to tell my boyfriend. Who's now broken up with me because of it. FML

Today, my boyfriend has never gotten along with my dad, but this afternoon during what I thought was a completely normal conversation, he just stood up, yelled he couldn’t take my dad anymore, punched him in the nose, dumped me, and drove away. FML

Today, I've always needed to share stories about things that made me upset to my boyfriend, and I thought he was my safe place to do so. I've always talked to him, and so has he. If he got upset, he'd tell me what's bothering him. Now he says he doesn't like it because I always talk to him about it. Now I have no one. FML

usually when men do this they are stressed and overwhelmed and now they are feeling the blame of the deterioration of the relationship. if he seems overly stressed give him some grace and time and revisit it. if he’s always like this and Just doesn’t care, I’d seriously rethink the relationship. good luck OP!

Red Flag. Emotionally damaged people can't face any criticism. This outburst, sulking, nothing changes routine will be your life if you stay with him.
