Today, my little brother watched an old video of The Who, who are know for smashing up their guitars and such. He decided it would be cool to try it with mine. That guitar was worth over $3000. FML

Today, I had to explain to my little sister that not all guitars are supposed to have a hole in them, that when I was talking about "breaking it in" I didn't mean I'd smash a hole in it, and that she shouldn't have taken a hammer to my expensive new guitar. FML

Today, I was in a music shop looking for a new guitar when someone called out someone else's name and jumped on my back. I lost balance and fell forward and broke 3 guitars and damaged another 6. The guy said "Sorry, thought you were someone else" and ran out. I now have to pay £2500. FML

I would have beaten the shit out of him. I'm guessing he was young enough to not even have a job to pay you back for it. That is ridiculous, WHY in the world did he think it'd be a good idea to do that? #69, seriously? It's not like he had signs pointing at the guitar saying "break me!" Get over yourself. No one deserves to have that happen. $3000 today when there are so many people who don't have jobs is a LOT of money.

Claim it stolen and get insurance money back. Sure it might be fraud - but 3k to an insurance company isn't a whole lot - so they probably won't really dig into the issue.
