If my ass-hair were long, I wouldn't brush it -- I'd get it shaved or waxed off. Not so much for the vanity, but to combat the dingleberry plague. I guess I'd miss the cushioning when I sit down, though ;(

ouch!! suck it up..it really isn't that bad

So? It happens. It doesn't hurt all that much unless you ripped through the cartilage, which the post doesn't specify. It's not as though studs/rings aren't meant to come off, so when you get at them with a brush or comb by accident, yeah, they come off. Doesn't feel like more than a pinch. Where's the fml in this?

I think it's implied that she did, indeed, rip through the cartilage.

If she just got it done, it probably hurt a lot. I have my cartilage pierced, and the first week or so after you pierce it it hurts when you hit it or mess with it.

obviously none if u people have a cartilage piercing. I do and it does hurt when something like that happens

I do. It hurts, but not that bad unless it's new or infected.

I do as well. I have two, though I used to have three. I've done this numerous times, and it feels just like a little pinch. Doesn't hurt much at all, unless, as tencents said, it's new or infected. Then, I'd say, it hurts a tiny bit more. I'm more bothered by the fact that it gets hot when you jar it if it's infected. Really, I still say this is not an fml. It's pretty common if you have cartilage piercings.

I have 2, both have been knocked out by hairdressers whilst brushing and it didn't hurt at all...

i actually had a eye brow and nipple piercing, bot got ripped out

like you are the first person to ever do this….....nope.

Delicious! That takes some serious skill. It sucks that it happened, but you kind of deserve it for not being careful around your piercing.

been there done tht is fncking succckkkkkkksss :(

Wouldn't it have been easier, and less painful to just take the back off? Why did you use a comb? :)
