Today, I took my girlfriend to Taco Bell since it's her favorite place to eat. I thought it'd be cute to get one of the sauce packets that says "Will you marry me?" on it and give it to her all cute-like. She thought it was adorable. While we were leaving, she threw it out. FML

Today, my boyfriend proposed to me. My boss called me into her office and congratulated me, and spent almost half an hour asking me what our wedding plans were, where we might honeymoon, if we wanted kids, etc. She then followed this by suddenly remembering she had called me into the office to sack me. FML

It all depends on the circumstances… Nothing wrong with working anywhere that’s honest work… And there’s nothing wrong with getting a proposal if you know the person and have dated them for an appropriate period of time… It’s a very old cliche, but sometimes people use a “proposal” just as a compliment and don’t really mean it. In this case the person is a fool but harmless.
