It takes an asshole to ignore what people are saying just to correct their grammar in a casual conversation. It's annoying. It's insensitive. And I bet that friend won't be confiding in you ever again.

Anyone who doesn't constantly have to stop themselves from correcting other people doesn't know how tough it is. However, you should *really* try harder in situations like that.
