@119 - Really? You would press charges over a cut ponytail? That's stupid. But OP, I'm sorry, that sucks! I have really long hair and I would be PISSED if someone cut it. I'd at least kick their ass. I'm sure someone saw who did it.

I can understand how you wouldn't feel it. I have real long, curly hair and all sorts of shit gets caught in it all the time without me knowing. Not to mention you get that natural pulling feeling that comes with a ponytail, so you might mistake someone lopping your hair off for that feeling.
