Neighbours at war

Today, a man next door has been coughing constantly for past 3 months and I can hear him despite closing my windows. During the day there's construction noise and at night this asshole. I asked him many times to close his windows but he won't. Now I play coughing on a speaker at the same time he starts, just to piss him off. FML

so you’re mad because you neighbor is probably dying and instead of just buying some earplugs you decide to play coughing loud on a speaker? when you could literally just play rain sounds or anything else to fall asleep. if you don’t like hearing life going on around you maybe buy your own property or stfu

Dang, how weak are the walls if you can hear your neighbor's coughing with closed windows? Unless this is an apartment, but if there are windows that would create a sound barrier, that sounds unlikely... yikes.
