Today, my daughter told me she is pregnant. The father is the foreign exchange student who just moved back to Germany. FML

He had to leave. some high school exchange students only stay for a couple of weeks.

To be fair - speaking as a previous exchange student myself - he most likely did not run from his problems. When our visa (that the US gives us) expires at the end of your stay -( in my case after a full highschool year) we are REQUIRED to leave the united states almost immedialy. I think he most likely dosn't even know - and if he does he doesn't have a say in leaving the country.
