Today, I was riding my bike and stopped at a street light. A little girl looked at me, then asked her mother, "Mommy, why does that girl have a ring through her nose?" Her mother then replied, "Because her parents don't love her." FML

stop bashing #31. it was a legitimate thing to say. the woman isn't talking to the OP: she is mothering her child. perhaps she shouldn't have said it in earshot of the OP, but she is trying to set a good example for her daughter. and i think that nose rings look trashy too. i know plenty of ppl who have them and ARENT trashy but that doesnt mean that a nose ring doesnt LOOK trashy. ppl who are talking about their own piercings are missing the point. grow up, people.

this isnt a FML.. if you got it for that reason or not.. you still have a choice to have it. i have my septum pierced and have had some little kids shriek over it..but w/e. i like it. their opinion doesnt matter

Anyway, #31, Girls with septum piercings, lip piercings, stretched ears, and ****** cheek piercings are the most gorgeous people in the world to me because they don't look trampy.
