Today, I took a shower in a beach house we're renting for the week. Once I get out, I realize the house doesn't supply towels, my entire family was outside in the front yard, my phone was upstairs, and there are no blinds. I stood under a ceiling fan naked for 20 minutes trying to dry off. FML

Today, I went camping with my family. While I was using the shower house, my sister decided it'd be hilarious to run off with my clothes and towel. I ran back to the camper, completely naked, only for my parents to bitch me out for streaking. FML

Life's a beach

Today, I went tanning on the beach. I found a nice spot close to shore and laid there with my towel and sunglasses. A few hours later, I awoke to waves splashing at me. My towel was soaked and my sunglasses must have washed off the shore. Damn high tide. FML

Today, I took my clothes off for a shower at an RV campsite. I started running the water when I noticed there was a pack of hornets in the bathroom. I stood there, stark naked, waiting for a chance to get out, for four hours. FML

Today, due to an incident with the dishwasher, a coat rack and my bathrobe, I ended up locked out of my house, naked as a jaybird. I had to hide in the backyard for several hours until my family got home from their various activities to get back in. They still haven't stopped laughing at me. FML

Today, I fell in the shower and the doors jammed shut. I was stuck in there for hours, waiting for my parents to come home. They had to open the door for me while I was still naked inside. FML

Today, the toilet on the top floor of my house burst, soaked the bathroom, and water dripped down into the kitchen and the basement for hours when nobody was home. Eight blowers and a dehumidifier later, the house is about 90 degrees and I can't leave. FML

Today, I came home to my bed and most of my room soaking wet. This morning, my mom thought it would be "smart" to warm up my room by opening the skylight above my bed. There were heavy showers all day today. FML

Today, after getting out of the shower, I was in a good mood. So I decided to run around the house naked, then play air guitar while air drying, just for fun. My blinds were open, and the men in the Fedex truck in my front yard did have fun. FML

Today, I went to take a shower, but forgot my towel and dorm key in my room. After my shower, I had to run down to the front desk butt-naked, using only a shampoo bottle as cover, and ask for a temporary key. The person running the front desk was my ex-girlfriend’s current boyfriend. FML

Today, I decided to tan naked in a secluded part of my yard, so I wouldn't get tan lines. I even felt adventurous enough to leave my bikini and towel inside. This idea backfired however when my mom stopped home from work, assumed I wasn't home, and locked all the doors before she left again. FML

And you didn't think to use your (clean) clothes to dry yourself? I mean, sure your clothes will be wet but at least you're not standing around naked for 20 minutes. YDI for not using your head.

I clicked both YDI and FYL because, you deserved it for not making sure you had a towel, and FYL because of course you would assume that a rental would have towels stocked in the bathroom. I understand not wanting to put on dirty clothes after taking a nice clean shower, but in that case, how did you get out of the bathroom anyways?

no offense OP, but couldn't you just put on your clothes?.. you would've dried off either way. anyways i think that it's odd you didn't notice there were no towels before you took the shower... weren't there some laying around, I mean afterall you went to the beach so you should've taken towels... still... this one made me laugh somehow..

That doesn't make any sense. When people shower, they usually have two sets of clothes somewhere near them. The first set being the dirty clothes that you just took off prior to going into the shower. The other set would be the clean clothes that you're planning on wearing after getting out. You could of used either to dry yourself in such a situation. So either you're lying or dumb as a rock.

Wow. Really? Couldn't you at least use your head and look to see if there were towels before you got a shower? And plus, who takes 20 minutes to drip dry? Lamee! Still FYL for you being the ONLY one in the house while your family is outside having fun. :)

#39 people are always telling others to "get a life" its quite common on Youtube lol but what exactly does the word "life" mean in your dictionary? They really don't have any better insult so they pull the "get a life!" card..
