For any reason, that would suck. Personally, I like long hair. To the waste would look pretty damn nice to me. Personally, though, of course. Sucks that that happened OP.

Weirdly, I used to always tuck my hair underneath me at sleep overs because I was afraid of this very thing. I don't know what ever put the idea into my head that someone would do that, but it was always there. And I love my hair, probably more than is reasonable. I'd be SO ******* angry, I can't even say right now what I'd do. Even just reading this post pissed me off at the people who would do that.

Wow, your "friends" sound like terrible people. If they were the sort of people that do that in the first place why did you befriend them? Hair takes forever to grow and it's such a pain to try and get it to that length because of split ends and it gets to those in-between length stages. I feel so bad for you.
