Today, I went on a double date with my bestfriend. At the end of the night, her boyfriend gave her a long kiss, and texted her 5 minutes after we left to say he missed her already. My boyfriend picked his nose, then gave me a fist bump as a goodbye. FML

Today, after a great double date with my best friend and two really hot guys, we went back to my place. My friend and I left the guys in the living room to go grab some more wine. When we came back, we found our dates making out with each other on the couch. FML

Today, my friend set me up on a blind date, to get my mind off having been recently broken up with. The guy was perfect: tall, muscular, handsome. But while we were watching a movie, I saw him dig around in his nose, then wipe his finger on my pants. FML

Today, I was on a date with this girl I actually like. The date was going really well and it seemed like it would be a good night. While in the movie theater, I went to hold her hand and instead she gave me a hand shake and said, "You're so funny, I'm so glad we're friends". FML

Today, I went on a date with a guy that I really like. At the last minute he informed me a friend would be tagging along. To keep his friend from being a third-wheel, I kept up a conversation, and managed to piss my date off. He thought I would be a better match for his friend. FML

Today, I went on my first date in over a year, and my best friend popped up at the restaurant uninvited. To make it worse, she pulled up a chair right in between us and started an argument with the bartender. FML

Wow really YDI. Stop comparing your boyfriend to other people its wrong. I hate when people do that. If you don't like the way your boyfriend acts tell him, ever thought of that. If his attitude doesnt change dump him.

Why is everybody so down on the friend's boyfriend and the "I miss you already" text message? Maybe the OP's friend and her man live far away from each other, and they don't know when they'll see each other again. My boyfriend and I live 7 hours apart, and when he visits me, or I visit him, once we're apart again I feel an emptiness and loneliness I never could have imagined feeling before I knew him. Then a few minutes later I get a text from him saying something like "I miss you already baby. I love you," and I don't feel so alone anymore. Why is it so hard to believe that a man could genuinely miss his girl, even if they'd only been apart a few minutes?

I feel the exact same way I don't get to see my gf often so after we say goodbye I feel that emptiness also and when I start talking to her it goes away :)
