Today, I received a three-time forwarded message, which I thought would turn out to be a random chain message. Turns out my boyfriend didn't want to send me the "break-up text" himself and figured it would get to me eventually after sending it to all my best friends. FML

Today, my boyfriend emailed me this morning to let me know that he had forwarded the joke that I had sent to him to all of his workmates and friends. He was quickly given the heads-up by one of his friends that all of our intimate emails from the day were also included. I'm dating a dumbass. FML

Today, I sent out a Happy Snow Day text to 20 of my closest friends. My boyfriend, who doesn't have an iPhone, didn't realize it was a group text. He sent back a text breaking up with me. To all the people in the group message. FML

Today, my boyfriend broke up with me via text message. Every 20 minutes or so, I'll get a notification that I have a new message, and I check it just to find that same message sitting there. I'm being trolled by my own phone. FML

Today, I got an email saying the gift I'd ordered for my boyfriend of three years had been sent. I ordered it a couple of days ago because I thought he needed cheering up. I guess he found a better way of doing so himself; he broke up with me yesterday. FML

Today, I broke up with my boyfriend of 2 years because I was tired of his childishness and anger, so he decided to send me 540 random text messages of scrambled letters in order to mess up my phone as well, as make me pay 20 cents for each message. FML

How can you wuss out of a text break up, something I thought was the pussiest thing any guy could do? Not only is he scared to break up with you face to face, he's scared to break up with you not face to face. Sure, it hurts, but at least now you can date someone who's backbone is bigger than his ****.

Actually he did you a big favor. Now, EVERYONE knows you are available. Your phone will be a-ringing soon. If he broke up with you face-to-face, it would take a while for the news to spread, but by doing this, he's giving all the other guys a chance to pounce on you. Maybe for true love, or maybe just to make a quick score with a desperate girl on the rebound. It's for the best, you know. You wouldn't be able to have babies with a guy who has no testicles.

I'd rather be broken up with via text than face to face. If you're going to be upset over it you don't exactly want your now ex to see how badly you take it. But yeah, forwarding it to her friends instead was a bit excessive..
