Today, my husband decided that the best way to deal with me eating the last chocolate chip muffin was to give me the silent treatment. Normally, I'd just get over his childish behavior, but we're on a fifteen hour car trip back home with our one year-old. FML

Today, my husband had a temper tantrum because I wouldn't get him a chocolate bar at the store register. FML
Today, it’s been three hours since my girlfriend starting giving me the silent treatment. I went to the bakery to buy some pastries, so I asked her if she wanted any before I left. She said “No.” I came home with one pastry for myself and she threw a tantrum because she'd said “No” to see if I would get her one anyway. I’m confused. FML
Today, my husband once again thought it would be funny to rage-bait our child during dinner. There was screaming, food being thrown around, and a whole lot of running around instead of eating. I already had a headache and was already overstimulated, so I had to fend off a meltdown. All this over chicken burgers. FML
Today, as I'm 7 months pregnant and craving sweets, I helped myself to my MIL's birthday cake a little early. The family got so angry, they actually made me leave the party. My husband agreed with them. FML
Today, my toddler threw a screaming, rampaging fit, because I ate the last chocolate mousse from the fridge. Did I forget to mention said toddler is actually my 52 year old dad? FML
Today, I realized that every day without fail, the muffins I've been making and giving to my husband for work have been hitting speeding cars' windshields. FML
Today, my husband put myself and our 3 year-old on a plane back to the other side of the US, because he “just can’t” with us anymore. FML
Today, my husband decided that if he's not hungry, then I'm not allowed to make myself any food. FML
Today, I got mad at my boyfriend and gave him the silent treatment. He still hasn’t noticed. It’s been four hours, and he just asked if I wanted to order pizza, assuming I was "thinking really hard about something." FML
Today, my husband suddenly decided he was going to stop talking about all the changes he needed to make, and finally do them. That's great, except that in less than a day, he lost his shit at me and our young kids for not immediately fixing everything about ourselves as well. They're still sobbing and he doesn't care. FML

Hah. That's a funny thought. People doing stupid shit like "holding off on sex" are the reason marriages fall apart. Afterall if a woman isn't there for sex she's only good for cooking and cleaning. Just kidding, but seriously why do woman think men NEED sex. Not every man does. If my wife ever did that I'd be content to wait months for sexual favors. IMHO if you think men are just sex driven horny imbeciles your more than likely a gender bias'd terrorist. Just my opinion however (luckily we're all entitled one)

So I am guessing you will stop to get gas, pee, change a diaper, or some such thing. Treat him to a new freshly made, twice as big cupcake. Then when you get home, seek counseling...or a divorce lawyer. what a baby!

I agree. when I am upset about something, I am sure my family would rather I give the silent treatment. In fact my teenager is the only one I give it too, and it always results in an apology. Otherwise we are BOTH yelling like banshees.
