Collection
Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, I received the only love letter I've ever gotten. Too bad it's from the guy who's been stalking me. FML
Today, I'm so lonely, I wrote my number on a desk at my university, hoping someone would text me. FML
Today, in a desperate attempt to get fired, I sent a sexual love letter to my boss. We're going on our first date tomorrow. FML
Today, I resorted to buying some expensive flowers and sending them to my boss anonymously with a mysterious love letter, just to get her to lighten the hell up and stop constantly harassing and berating me over every little thing. FML
Today, I found a love letter in my mail. It was from a girl I met at a bar few weeks ago. I never gave her my address or last name. I guess I have a stalker now. FML
Today, I found out that the person sending me secret love letters was actually my dad, who felt sorry for me. FML
Today, I received the sweetest love letter from my boyfriend after having a bad day. After gushing about it and reading it to my friends, they said it reminded them of a letter that they'd seen online. He got it from a fill-in-the-blank love letter generator. FML
Today, I was so desperate for any kind of male romantic attention that I googled "prison pen pals", and I'm considering writing to one. FML
Today, I was falling in love with the nostalgia of having handwritten love letters and flowers left on my windshield. Turns out my "secret admirer" was just a mean prank conjured up by my coworkers. They laughed. I cried, hard. FML
Today, I spent 30 minutes listening to my crush complain about a stalker that's been sending her flowers and love poems almost every week. It's me. FML
Feel like sharing it with the other FML users?
Thanks, your FML was submitted, and will appear in the moderation queue soon!

that's not exactly gonna help you not be lonely...

Why on earth would you do that? I think you spend more time and energy looking for someone special, rather than looking for someone who will take money to write fake love notes... Like obviously finding someone can be hard, but you'll never get anywhere wasting your time and money on pretend love notes... =/

I agree with #1. Unless he's mailing you a person with the letter, you're pretty much still in the same boat

all the fml's about ppl being single are getting kind of annoying. instead of complaining on fml why don't you go out and try to be with someone?
mattman1994 0

Kiill3rQu33n16 0

Quit your bitching and go find someone. Might I suggest a house of worship, library, grocery store, coffee house, bar, etc. If that doesn't work, try for a homeless guy under a bridge. They tend to be lonely.

Poor OP. Maybe try Rsvp or an online dating service instead of posting FMLs???
Gannon1994 0
Yeah, #2 is right, a dating site would be better. Instead of paying for something like that, use the money to go out?
DarkHelmet 10
That is sorry!!! You should've used that money to buy you some sweet love down by the fire instead of a useless love letter!!

BUY a *****... or a fleshlight...or both o.O

Is the person writing you the love letters attractive, nice, sweet or outgoing? If so, persue him! Maybe something good will come out of it.
CloudEnvy 17
Pursue him with a net.

"He" is probably actually a chick. As a general rule (note: I didn't say always), we'd be better at writing convincing love notes to strange women. The idea of an anonymous love note business also sounds like a woman's brainchild to me. And I'm kinda bummed I didn't think of it-- it sounds like a potentially huge moneymaker, especially if it also caters to men who want love notes "written" by them sent to their ladies.
FFML_314 12
Lol, very true. I was assuming OP hired a male, because she's a woman. It certainly does sound like the type of business run by women.

How the hell will reading those love letters make a damn difference?
