Today, it was my friend's 18th birthday. She had invited us out drinking. I've never had alcohol before and was very excited. I got a call explaining that she had invited one too many and asked me not to come. People bragging on Facebook about what a great time they were having didn't help either. FML

Today, it's my one-year anniversary of being sober. For the occasion, my father decided to spice-up my non-alcoholic cocktail with booze. I didn't realize, and drank it. FML

Seriously? Way to support your friend. You basically threw it in her face that she can’t drink anymore lest she slip back into her addiction, and you probably triggered her in the process of getting wasted. Think before you act next time, a drinking problem is no easy feat to overcome. You could have had a nice evening with her and celebrated without booze but no. You chose to act like a jerk and pretty much only thought about yourself and what you wanted. FHL
