your age is showing! why dont you look at it as they actually accept your girlfriend as a part of the family. I have been in a relationship with someone for four years and two days ago my family finally accepted him as a part of our family allowing him to attend family parties and holiday events. You are lucky, put a ring on that girl's finger and thank your family for being so welcoming because it could have caused bigger issues in your relationship. end rant.

40, I tell him! it's a three hour bus ride and it's hard to get a ride because of gas. My boyfriend doesn't want me to go because it gets dark early which means it'll be dark when I leave. Also my parents make a big deal out of it all. I feel like I put excuses but I mostly don't do it because my boyfriend is afraid something will happen to me. He knows I'm ambitious but he also knows I won't want to leave his house early. I'd want to leave at 8, get home at 11. Would you want that for your girl?
