Weirdo freak
Today, I found out that my controlling, verbally abusive ex-boyfriend from nearly four years ago is still obsessed with me. Apparently, he's told everyone back home that he and I are getting married as soon as I finish college. We haven't spoken in over two years. FML

change your number, tell all your family and friends your situation and not to give your new number out by any means and, if necessary get a restraining order.

Restraining order, call the police, and make sure he gets stuck in some sort of psychological treatment program. That dude is textbook crazy...

Havn't spoke in years? I wouldn't worry about it. He's harmless

I wouldn't be so sure he's harmless, if he was abusive and controlling in the relationship and now believes they'll get married when she finishes college and comes home he could very well be dangerous. Considering he's a bit on the delusional side I'd be concerned, you never know what a mentally unbalanced individual may do, or what may trigger them.

Restraining order if possible, and probably talk with someone who deals with these kinds of problems and get some advice from a pro. If he's that obsessed, you're going to want as much information on your rights as you can arm yourself with.

Your only option here is to drop out of college, change your name, get plastic surgery, move to Tijuana, give hand-jobs for spare change under an interstate somewhere, shack-up in a refrigerator box with a random guy name Jorge, live the Tijuana dream, my friend.

Is that what you were doing when you disappeared from FML, Boners?

I think we're all in agreement that a restraining order would be an appropriate solution.

Yes, a restraining order and a handgun

Sounds like you have two problems OP. A crazy ass ex-boyfriend and at least one other person that likes to stir stuff up. There is no reason for someone to upset you about this as you explained it. But if your ex is psychotic, get word back him that for his own good, he and his accomplices need to just walk away and leave you alone.

I don't think whoever told her did it to stir up trouble. I think they were trying to make her aware of the situation so she can do something about it.

A restraining order is only a piece of paper....get a weapon and learn how to use it well.
