Today, without even trying, I convinced my 17-year-old daughter that blueberries are just peas holding their breath. I have raised a complete airhead. FML

Next you should try telling her that she can get pregnant from boys even touching her and are what happens. XD

Unless she's gorgeous, you're screwed.

That's right, you raised her. Too bad she has a parent she "thinks" she can trust.

Yeah, because lack of critical thinking skills is totally trumped by the fact that her father told a whopper of a story that most people would recognize as being complete BS. Statements like yours are why the educational system is in the toilet; you give way too much priority to the trivial shit that occurs in the world, yet could give a rat's ass as to whether or not you're capable of functioning in the real world.

You got all that out of my statement? Talk about complete BS!

@greatnt249: OP is a woman.

#46, you implied that the mother was being malevolent, when anyone with elementary critical thinking skills would've known right away that it wasn't true. I mean, really, is the REAL issue the fact that the mom was telling a recognizable fib, or the fact that the daughter believed it without question?

has anyone considered that the daughter could have possibly been messing with her mom and that you should not read to much into opinions that you don't agree with your not changing anyones mind less they want it to be changed in which case they will do it

Great, another Modelock. The girls who spend so long acting dumb for boys that they become dumb. Although this is a case of Epic Modelock. Seriously. The dumbest I ever heard.

At thirteen you should be able to form a complete sentence and use proper grammar.

I was about to say something similar, but you guys already hit the subject. Congrats.

I see how your the airhead. how many times have you attempted 2nd grade?
wwerulez14 6
Lol. You make a comment on her being an airhead, and yet you can't properly use the word "you're" when it's needed. Irony; how sweet it is. :)
