Today, after great sex with my boyfriend, I lay in my bed while he went to get a drink from downstairs. Hearing someone come up, I shouted out as a joke, "Damn babe, I'm covered in cum, was there a hole you didn't fill?" It wasn't my boyfriend, it was my dad. FML

I believe the OP meant their dad could hear their boyfriend through the phone. I could be wrong but that makes more sense to me given that it seems like if it was that he could hear them in another room the conversation would have started with tell him to quiet down.
