Today, two customers complained about the shitty service they received from my coworkers. I apologized and asked about the complaint. Their issues were legitimate and I promised to pass them on. They demanded to speak to my manager and my coworkers got in trouble. Now they think I'm a snitch. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Escape goat
Today, I found out that several coworkers had been complaining about me behind my back for a couple of weeks, including to my manager. When my manager finally brought the issue up to me, he realized that I hadn’t done anything wrong; there was an error in our computer system. Nobody has apologized. FML
Damned if you do…
Today, half of my office urged me to file a complaint against a coworker for aggressive behaviour, so I did. Less than 24 hours later, HR gave him a real dressing down and the whole office turned against me for ratting on him to management. FML
Today, at work, we had an extremely rude customer who started cussing at us, and my coworker started cussing back. I jumped on the register to quickly bring down the line, and apologized to everyone for the scene. A secret shopper was in the line and claimed that I was rude. I got written up. FML
Slackers
Today, my boss told me that people from work have been complaining about me. Apparently, I'm not doing part of their jobs for them, and the other manager sometimes does. FML
Today, a customer filed a complaint against me because my coworker took too long to do a price check. I hate my job. FML
Troublemaker
Today, a new hire at my workplace, who is already on probation, yelled at me about filing an HR complaint about him. I had customers, who definitely heard. I've never filed a complaint. FML
Today, a customer at work said his table was dirty. I asked which one he was sitting at so I could clean it for him. For some bizarre reason he got pissed and called my manager over. He ended up reporting us to corporate, and my manager got written up. He's blaming me for everything. FML
The customer is always a dong
Today, a customer filed a formal complaint with corporate about me, because I wouldn't help her find things she wanted while I was off the clock. We were in a completely different store than the one where I actually work. FML
Let it out
Today, I was working when I delivered the standard "Hello, how are you?" to a customer. He took the opportunity to tell me about his deceased wife, his estranged children, and his anal tearing. After a while, I tried to help someone else, and he complained to my manager. I was written up. FML
Listen up
Today, after years of listening to my coworker complaining about everything in her life, including her job, I finally stood up to her and bitched at her for complaining and not doing anything about it. She went to my boss, and now it's in my job description to listen to her when she complains. FML

Sorry to hear that OP. Unfortunately, people will believe what they want. Just keep doing what's right.

You did your job they didn't. They obviously need more training

If OP's tone is any indicator, I think OP's co-workers simply need to avoid being tools and expecting people to back them up when they do tool shit.

If the co workers were doing what they were suppose to then off corse the op should back up. But they weren't op has his own bills that he has to pay and the 2 shitty co workers aren't going to pay his bill if the restaurant shuts down

Of course.

Ignore them. You're there to work, not make friends. Sounds like they need to grow up and develop a stronger work ethic.

I hate the term "snitch," it's so stupid. I get not telling on people for petty things, but if you're doing something wrong, or giving bad service, expect that there's a possibility that you're going to get in shit for it. That is completely on you because you're the one doing the inappropriate action, it is not on the person that notifies an authority of your shitty behavior. Your coworkers are childish OP, this isn't your fault, it's theirs, maybe if they were better employees and actually did their job with courtesy, they wouldn't have gotten in trouble.

They must be a bunch of Muggles if they don't even know what a snitch is. Lol

Sink or swim, if your coworkers aren't performing they shouldn't be there..

They spoke to the manger ? Your coworkers ought to have a beef with him.
Talis99 26
A beef with the manager, 8? Why? He did his job, too. They obviously didn't do theirs, the coworkers deserve it.

I think they're saying that if the coworkers were going to be irrationally angry at someone, they should be irrationally angry at the boss for actually getting them in trouble.
Lalala579121 28
If they're going to be irrationally angry at anybody, it should be the customers. After all, they wouldn't have gotten in trouble if the customers hadn't complained.

No one caught the "manger" joke...

27: Not everyone knows what manger means in French, so they wouldn't make the correlation.
