Today, three days after finally having a bed to sleep on, I woke up with multiple bedbug bites. I can't use my blankets, wear any of my clothes and it's back to sleeping on the floor for me. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I discovered I have bed bugs. I have nowhere else to sleep and I won't be able to afford a new mattress for at least a year. I'd better get used to these giant welts. FML
Horrible little things
Today, after three visits from exterminators and another from a steam cleaner, I still have bedbugs. FML
Today, after being moved to three different employer-provided apartments because they all had mold and electrical problems, I requested a bigger bed. The bed they delivered had bedbugs. FML
Today, my girlfriend and I moved back in after over a month of couch hopping and $2,000 of heat and chemical treatments for a chronic bedbug issue. I just found bedbugs on my legs. We've used all our favors and have nowhere to go. FML
Today, I discovered that my bed has a flea infestation. I discovered it after sleeping naked in it for about an hour. FML
LEAVE ME ALONE
Today, it's the third day that I can't sleep. Somewhere in my room, there's a mosquito craving for my blood, and every time I'm about to fall asleep, I can hear it flying around. I'm covered in bites, even in places that barely see the daylight. FML
Today, after finally going to therapy for anxiety like everyone wanted, I discovered the itching feeling that kept me awake at night was actually caused by a bedbug infestation. FML
Today, I woke up to something crawling on my leg. Thinking it might be a spider, I jumped out frantically to check. The good news: it's not a spider. The bad news: it's a bedbug. My apartment was just treated for them. FML
Bugging out
Today, while working the graveyard shift at my hotel, it felt a little chilly, so I grabbed a blanket out of the box we usually store old blankets in. Twenty minutes later, the live-in maintenance man casually remarked that those blankets are all infected with bed-bugs. FML
Today, despite putting all the food in the fridge, taking all the rubbish outside, cleaning the house top to bottom and setting up bait, we're still dealing with a bloody huge ant problem. I've now got a rash all over from being bitten while I sleep. FML

Call an exterminator. Same thing happened to my friend and he resolved the problem quickly.

I know how you feel had the same problem. It's hard to get rid of them but just to let you know they live in wood. You can drown them in bleach or the spray that's used for killing them

Oh yea and the mattress..

And the carpet. And the walls. And the dresser. ... Napalm.

Bed bugs are very sensitive to temperature changes. If you can heat the inside of the house to at least 115° F for 10 minutes, you should kill most if not all of the bed bugs in your residence.

diatomaceous earth will kill very quickly not the pool cleaner but go to home Depot and get food grade

Or just kill em with fire!

Heat and cold kill them quick. Getting the house down to 60 F will do the trick.

Burn the bed. Come to think of it, burn the whole house.. Seriously tho, you'll need a new bed.

I also had bed bugs once. I called the exterminator and the apartment complex I live in paid for it. I had to pay a lot to wash all of my things, but I didn't have to get rid of a single thing. If you call the exterminator, you may be able to save your mattress :)

I honestly don't know if you're being serious or not.

I always wondered why the phrase "don't let the bed bugs bite" mentioned biting.

At least you got to finally sleep on a bed. That is the only bright side to this

The floor's better for your back, anyway... Positive spin?
connorgrant98 24
That is actually one of the negative effects of this. Sleeping on the floor over an extended period of time is harmful for your back.

Bedbugs are spawn of the devil. RUN! Don't even sleep on the floor!
