Today, I found out the person I've fallen for is seeing someone else. This isn't a problem. What IS a problem is the fact that I asked her out before they even met, and was told she wasn't ready for a relationship. This happens every time I try to put myself out there and let myself feel anything for anyone. FML
Today, I found out the girl I like is in love with someone else. Five weeks ago, she told me she's never been in love. FML

Today, I found out that my fiancée wishes she'd never said yes when I proposed, as she is in love with another man, and has been hiding their relationship for years. FML
Today, my girlfriend told me that we should take a break from our relationship, because it'd be best for the both of us. Later, I found out that she really meant it'd be best for her and her new boyfriend. FML
Today, I found out that the girl I've been in love with for a long while got back together with her ex boyfriend because he had confessed his true feelings to her through a note in her locker. It was my note. FML
Today, the woman I love told me she cared about me and didn't like me hurting myself. She then posted a picture of herself making-out with her new boyfriend. FML
Today, my girlfriend broke up with me. By making out with her new boyfriend in front of me. FML
Today, I found out that the woman I could fall in love with is dating a friend of mine. I think I will end up alone, and die alone. FML
Today, two months after forgiving my girlfriend for breaking my heart by cheating on me, I found out that she's cheating again with the same guy. When I confronted her, she basically said I brought it on myself and that I was an idiot for not dumping her the first time. FML

This happened to me and I was completely pissed off. I was too shy and gentlehearted to confront her about it, though, and ended up drifting away. She had a sciency flare to her, too ;-; Oh well. No regrets. I'm currently happy relationship-wise right now.

I've done this... but I really didn't think I was ready for a relationship. I had gotten out of a bad relationship a few months before, then had to break up with a guy I didn't think I was dating within that week. I didn't want to deal with guys and was going out of state later that day to get away from it all!! I ended up meeting my husband the week I was out of state.
