Today, my wife and I were planning our nursery for our future child. She said that we'd be painting it pink either way. I asked what would happen if we had a boy. She said "Oh, he'll be gay" with a menacing glare. I'm worried. FML

Today, my husband and I went for our 20 week scan and found out we're having a girl. The first thing he said to me was, "The next one better be a boy or I'm leaving you". FML
Today, my brother came out to our family as being gay. My mother starting crying because she "wanted grandchildren." I told her that I was planning on having children. She started crying harder. FML
Today, I was told by my wife that we were going to be parents. We are both females. FML
Today, at 18, I finally told my mom I was gay. She spent the rest of the day bringing up my "future wife" at every possible chance she had. FML
Today, I came out to my parents. I don't really fit any stereotype, I'm just an average guy who happens to be into guys. Ten minutes later, I overheard my mother say to my step-dad, "Should we redecorate his room pink?" FML
Today, my wife and I went shopping for new glasses at a local store, but we didn't really get to actually buying one. On our way back, she warned me that my glasses of choice should in no way be 'those big arty ones'. When I asked her why not, she told me that I 'look gay enough already'. FML
Today, I admitted to my wife that I'd really like to get a Prius, but I was worried that if I did, everyone would question my sexuality. She told me, "I don't know why you care, everyone already thinks you're gay." FML
Today, in a waiting room, my 4-year-old daughter told me she saw two guys kissing. I quietly explained that some men like men, they're gay, and normal like everyone else. I was pleased with myself until the woman across from me scoffed and muttered, "Disgusting." FML
Today, I came home to find that my girlfriend had repainted my bedroom. As she had offered to do it, it shouldn't have been a problem. However, she decided to return the several unopened cans of off-white paint that I'd bought for something "more neutral." Like "Sunset Orange." FML
Today, my boyfriend told me that he is homophobic. This wouldn't be such a big deal, if my mother wasn't a lesbian. He doesn't know this yet, and I'm afraid to tell him. FML

Look on the bright side, if the kid turns out to be a boy and if he becomes gay at least he has an accepting mother.

Obviously she was joking, and the menacing glare was probably because she thought that pink could be a nice colour for both a boy and a girl? I'm worried too. But not for the same reason.

Nothing wrong with being gay. I just hope that if it's a boy, the mother doesn't force him to be gay.. that would be horrible.

You guys need to grow up! if your son is in a pink room, he won't "turn" gay. Guys are SO stupid!! AND there is nothing wrong being gay. Guys like it for girls but not other guys. Dumb!

First of all, be tolerant. Second, I'd think twice about knocking up a crazy, stupid bitch of a woman like your wife. Even if your child IS gay, how would she know when it's a baby? Next, gays are not pets and if your dumb beaver wife doesn't get that, then she isn't intelligent enough to bring a child into the world. I say leave the psycho for someone more level-headed and less ignorant.
