Today, my neighbour was singing in the shower so loud that I could understand every word. He was singing "Purple Rain", which wouldn't have been so bad if he only knew a bit more of the lyrics. He has been singing those same two words for half an hour now. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Oh mother, I can feel, the soiiiiil falling over my heaaaaaaad
Today, I was informed by my next door neighbor that they heard me singing in the shower last night. I laughed and she told me that the family gathers in their upstairs room closest to my bathroom window to guess which song I'm singing. Every night. FML
Today, I was singing in the shower, not realising the window was open. When I got out, the neighbours were at the front door, loudly arguing with my mother. They were complaining about my awful singing. FML
Heaven knows I'm miserable now
Today, I was singing my heart out in the shower, convinced I was alone. Turns out my roommate had friends over, and they could hear everything through the bathroom vent. Now, they keep requesting encore performances of my renditions of songs by The Smiths. FML
Today, my neighbor knocked on my door and left a note that said "Please stop singing in the shower. You're terrible, and everyone in the building can hear you." FML
Today, my neighbour was practicing his opera singing, drunk. FML
No more yodelling
Today, I was singing in the shower and my neighbor called the police because they thought I was in trouble. FML
Today, I was talking to myself in the shower, pretending I was Oprah. After I got out, my little brother asked if I was singing in the bathroom. I almost said no, but admitting to singing seemed a lot less embarrassing. FML
Today, thinking I was alone in a public bathroom, I started singing the words to my favorite song. A minute later that I heard a toilet flush, so I just sat there petrified. The other person sarcastically picked up the singing from where I left off. FML
The Voice
Today, my roommate eavesdropped on me singing. When I realized he was there, he said I was "fucking incredible" and asked me to do another song. There's just one issue: I only sing well when I'm alone. The result was predictably bad. If it was possible to literally die of embarrassment, I wouldn't be writing this. FML
Lost in music
Today, I wore noise-canceling headphones while cleaning my apartment. Apparently I'd been singing at the top of my lungs for nearly an hour, because my neighbor knocked on my door just to ask if everything was OK. FML

I feel you. There's nothing worse than being showered with shitty singing.

This is why I learn songs first before singing. I could sing whole albums in the shower! :p

Print up the lyrics, put them in an unmarked envelope, and tape it to his front door.

Good thought, although the "unmarked" is not going to make much odds - who else is going to know that he needs to learn the words?

The neighbor on the other side? Or downstairs? Or upstairs? Who knows?

The neighbor he awkwardly catches taping an envelope to his door when he opens it to go to work?

Print the lyrics, handwrite "Please, if you must do that, learn this. Thanks. - all your neighbors." on the paper, slide it under his door.

I like the 'print out the lyrics' ideas, but it just seems passive-aggressive to me. Purchase a copy of the album for them, with the printed lyrics to the whole thing. Then you can hear more lyrics, and possibly more than one song. And you've done something nice for yourself *and* for them.
