Today, I am expected to write an 8 page essay, due tonight. The reason why I don't even have one page yet? My mom decided to take away the only computer I have the essay saved on because I have an 'F' in English. The essay is for English. FML
Today, I found out that my ten-page paper, which has taken me two months to construct perfectly and is worth 30% of my grade, was on the wrong book. It’s due tomorrow. FML
Today, I was trying to show my mother how much detail I'd put into a group project that I had to present tomorrow. I then deleted the project, thinking that I was just removing it from my phone. Everyone's research and my three days of hard work went with it. FML
Today, at college, I was frantically trying to finish an essay on gay rights that was due less than an hour later. In the end I failed, because the college internet filters kept classifying every single page containing the information I needed as "sex", and blocked it all. FML
Today, I asked my professor what happened to the assignment I gave him several weeks ago. Turns out he lost it, and graded me zero as a result. Now if I want a mark, he says I'll have to hand-write it all over again, but that I "probably shouldn't bother," because it was "a bit shit, really." FML
Today, I lost a grade on an essay, because according to my teacher, I put much more detail into my analytical essay than I should have. FML
Today, I failed an assignment because the person I paid to do it plagiarized the entire thing. FML
Today, my baby threw up all over my homework, which I worked really hard on and is due tomorrow. Moral of the story is don’t have a kid when you're in high school. FML
Today, my brother stole my hard drive and wiped it. My hard drive had a 10-page school project on it. The project is due tomorrow. FML
Today, I found out that I chose a wrong class and my 30-page paper worth 10 credit points that I wrote for that class is basically worthless now, and my graduation might be postponed another semester just because of that. FML

It may save you money to live with your parents while you go to school, but a LOT of American students go to school out of state. It's actually cheaper to live on your own with a roommate than it is to live in the dorms. One of the reasons I went to school out of state, aside from going to a better school, was because I didn't want to live with my parents anymore and I am quite capable of taking care of myself. But anyway, this is a prime example why every student should have their own laptop/computer and password protect the SHIT out of it. I would have given my mother the verbal beat down of the century if she did that to me and I'd make her pay for the class I was about to fail thanks to her stupidity. What kind of mother deletes a college project because she thinks it's "too vulgar"? Has she never been to college and realized that a lot of taboo subjects are taught in the classroom?
